CONTRACTS CONCLUDED

Uhuru Communications completed a marketing and communications concept for an energy soft drink and food company, Outer Heaven Food & Beverages, and demonstrated the implementation of the concept.

Aids Take Care Germany has appointed Uhuru Communications to conceptualise a communications and marketing strategy to achieve their objectives to raise funds internationally for Aids Education and Aids orphans in South Africa.

The company, in association with Robben Island Museum, conceptualised the Robben Island African Festival which will be held on the island on Heritage Day every year. This it to promote the Robben Island Museum and assist in fund raising.

The company has conceptualised and produced the Rootz Africa publication (music, arts and cultural magazine) to complement the Robben Island African Festival. This magazine is the only cultural magazine on the continent and has been hailed as a major breakthrough in communicating the diverse cultures to the peoples of Africa.

The company has conceptualised the communications strategy for the Anglican Church and launched their official publication which will serve their Southern African community. The objective is to assist in the moral regeneration and transformation in the region.

The company was successful in its bid to produce and publish the in-flight magazine for South African Airways – SAWUBONA. This is the most sought after magazine in the publishing industry.

The company produced and managed the first Ubuntu Awards for the National Heritage Council. This is an annual event and the first recipient was Nelson Mandela.

Contralesa has contracted the company to conceptualise, produce and manage a policy development summit in Limpopo which will bring together local, provincial and national government; local, provincial, national and international business, and local and regional committees to develop a policy framework for the development of housing and mining in the province.

The company conceptualised and produced an informative publication for the student community called Student Choice. This magazine is distributed on all campuses in South Africa as well as selected schools.

The company has conceptualised and produced the first ever indigenous, student-friendly, grade nine (9) text book. This unique text book is in a glossy magazine format.

The company has secured the contract to publish the official travel, tourism and lifestyle magazine for the city of Johannesburg. This is done under the auspices of the Johannesburg Tourism Company.

The company has secured the contract to market and publisize the concept of public private partnerships at local government level and has included the publishing of Municipal Focus, the official mouthpiece of the LGBN.

The company has secured the contract to promote the aspirations, objectives and development of the indigenous peoples of South Africa
